The Green Wave is headed to the Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl to play The University of Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles! An historic rivalry from Tulane’s days in Conference-USA, the teams played annually from 1979 to 2006, with the last matchup played in 2010. The “Battle for the Bell” began in 1999 with the addition of a rivalry trophy. Southern Miss currently has possession of the Bell, with the last matchup resulting in a 46-30 Southern Miss victory. The regular season rivalry is scheduled to resume in a four-game series between 2022 and 2027, but Southern Miss AD Jeremy McClain tweeted on December 10th that the Armed Forces Bowl would be played for the Bell!

The TUMB will arrive in Forth Worth on December 3rd with some pre-bowl festivities planned. We will perform at the GameDay Pep Rally at 9:15am, and perform PreGame and our “Road to Victory” Halftime Show!
